Gmail has added another feature to its web-based email service –
Gmail. Gmail already had the option to add themes. Now you customize
your Gmail with any color, image or your own custom photo/image for the
background.
To customize your mail background, go to Themes Tabs in Settings. In the Themes tab, you find the last option is “Create your own theme”. You can pull photos/images from Google Picasa or upload directly from your computer.
This is another feature of GMail that adds some more personalizion to GMail. Google, hoping with this update to have more people logging in to GMail in stead of using e-mail programmes like Outlook to load e-mails from. GMail shows add when you check in, which is one of the major ways that GMail is being paid for.
